About
At iterra, we believe that training shouldn't just be about ticking a compliance box—it’s about building genuine readiness. We deliver high-standard first aid qualifications and practical skills-based training built on a foundation of military and real-world experience.
Our Foundations
iterra was launched by our founder, Aaron, to bring practical, outdoor skills and emergency care training to businesses, schools, and individuals alike.
Aaron's approach to instruction is rooted in 24 years of active service within the British Army. Having joined as a regular soldier, he continues to serve today as a reservist, dedicated to teaching and training other personnel. With operational deployments that have taken him across the globe to places like Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan—as well as deployments closer to home in Northern Ireland, the UK, and Europe—he understands exactly how to manage risk and administer emergency care in high-pressure environments.
Proven in the Field
We believe that the best instructors are those who live what they teach. Beyond military service, Aaron’s technical expertise is backed by a lifetime of outdoor exploration and remote travel.
In 2016, he spent 505 days riding a motorcycle solo around the world, crossing 29 countries. After that journey, he focused on professional guiding and instruction. He has since worked as a commercial guide, leading motorcycle tours through the Himalayas in Nepal, and, as a qualified Mountain Leader, has led trekking expeditions in various mountain ranges abroad.
Whether he is teaching navigation on a UK hillside, managing logistics overseas, or training personnel, his approach is straightforward, practical, and based on real-world experience.
Trusted Credentials
Today, iterra translates these years of military instruction and global expedition experience into straightforward, engaging courses for the civilian world. We are fully committed to industry standards and regulatory compliance, ensuring you get the highest quality training possible:
Aaron is a full member of the Mountain Training Association, ensuring all navigation and outdoor safety packages are delivered to top industry standards.
All of our first aid courses are run through Nuco Training, providing fully regulated, HSE-compliant qualifications that are recognised nationwide.
